W grze Tauri World istnieje sieć zależności między jednostkami, budynkami oraz technologiami. Aby stworzyć większość obiektów, należy wcześniej przebadać odpowiednie technologie w laboratorium i/lub zbudować odpowiednie budynki na wyspie.

Wymagania dla budowy budynków

Do konstrukcji wielu budynków (lub ich wyższych poziomów) niezbędne jest posiadanie innych budynków na określonym poziomie na danej wyspie.
Lista wymagań dla każdego z budynków prezentowana jest na ekranie budowy nowego budynku.

Wymagania dla badania technologii

Znajomość technologii jest globalna dla całej planety - jeśli przebadasz ją na jednej wyspie, wszystkie wyspy tej planety mogą z niej korzystać. Wszystkie technologie wraz z indywidualnymi wymaganiami są prezentowane w zakładce Technologie budynku Laboratorium, na tooltipie pokazującym się po przesunięciu kursora myszy na dowolną technologię.
Każda technologia wymaga określonej liczby naukowców w laboratorium na danej wyspie.
Wiele zaawansowanych technologii wymaga dodatkowo określonych poziomów innych technologii przebadanych wcześniej.
